3 years in the making, experience the world of Rijon like you’ve never seen it before: a fully immersive 3D environment with multiplayer support!

Built on the Pokémon 3D platform for PC, this custom Game Mode features 231 Pokémon, a 3D recreation of Pokémon Brown’s world to explore, full color maps, following Pokémon, Pokémon abilities and other modern features, Voltorb Flip, and so much more.

Installation options

Installer (Easy)

Easy setup that will install or update both Pokémon 3D and Pokémon Brown 3D, and give you the option of downloading the Enhanced Music Pack.

Please note: if you are updating from version 1.0.20 or earlier, you will need to manually transfer your save files. Instructions are included in the installer.

Manual (Advanced)

Advanced setup for those who want to modify an existing Pokémon 3D installation themselves.

How to play

  1. Download and install Pokémon 3D 0.61.2 or higher from the Pokémon 3D website.
  2. Download the Game Mode above and open the downloaded zip file.
  3. Navigate to your Pokémon 3D installation, start the game, and then close it.
  4. Extract the “Pokémon Brown 3D” folder into the Game Modes folder.
  5. Start Pokémon 3D.
  6. On the left of the main menu, select your language.

Enhanced Music Pack

This pack replaces the 8-bit music with an orchestral score, specially remastered for Brown 3D.

  1. Download the Music Pack above and open the downloaded zip file.
  2. Navigate to your Pokémon 3D installation.
  3. Extract the PokemonBrown3DMusicPack into the ContentPacks folder.
  4. On the left of the main menu, enable the content pack.

Online Play

  • To play online, you will need to join a public server that supports Pokémon Brown 3D.
  • You can also set one up yourself using the Unofficial Server Client.
  • For help and support, try asking in the Pokémon 3D Discord server.
